A Versatile & Accomplished Artist
Although Balzelli is famous for her goldsmith artistry, she has also been a painter, sculptor and high fashion designer. Her pieces are frequently displayed in galleries all over Italy, and she was invited to participate in a prestigious exhibit at Venice's Correr Museum. Called "Venice Gold: Splendours of Venetian Goldsmithery from the Middle Ages to Neoclassicism to Modern Times," the exhibit depicts the evolution of Venetian goldsmith traditions.
